I will remember Grandma Jan
clothed with strength and dignity.
Always loved to sing and dance.
Sought His face continually.
Sang praises day by day.
The Lord, her strength, her song
when her illness lingered and stayed.
The cancer wasn’t here for long.
Valley of death, she feared no evil.
I remember her strength
not afraid, our Lord is peaceful.
Always feel her love, her presence.
Her worth is far above jewels.
My woman of God, my fuel.
